"General Performing Arts" Attire
Ballet Requirements Primary 1,2 & 3 Light pink Mondar leotard with short sleeves and ballet pink tights Pre-Teen and Teen Ballet Solid colour tank leotard and ballet pink tights *All ballet students must wear their hair in a proper bun with a hairnet. *All ballet students must have proper fitting pink ballet shoes.
Jazz and Musical Theatre *Stretchy dance shorts or dance pants/capris*Body suit or tight fitting exercise top - any colour *Black slip on or lace up Jazz shoes (absolutely no Jazz sneakers)
Tap *Stretchy dance shorts or dance pants/capris*Body suit or tight fitting exercise top - any colour *Black patent tap shoes until Tap 3 (Beginner tap shoes are acceptable for Pre-School classes, Tap/Jazz combo classes and Primary Tap classes.) *Jazz Tap shoes should be worn in Level 3 Tap and higher only.
Lyrical *Body suit or tight fitting exercise top*Footless tights and/or stretchy dance shorts, or dance pants/capris *Foot Undies
Modern *Body suit or tight fitting exercise top*Dance pants or stretchy dance shorts *Bare feet
Hip-Hop *Loose fitting clothing that is suitable for dance class*Clean, in-door runners or jazz sneakers *Absolutely no jeans or denim
Pre-School Classes 3,4, & 5 YEAR OLDS *Bodysuit - any colour*Pink Ballet tights *Pink Ballet shoes or pink gymnastic slippers *Beginner Tap Shoes
Boys - All Classes *Shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt
Hair Students are to attend class with hair off the face in a pony tail and in a bun for ballet. Any classes back-to-back with ballet should have their hair in a bun for both classes. *If a student is dressed inappropriately for class on more than one occasion, they may be asked to sit out for the duration of that class. Reminders *Please have names on all shoes and dance supplies *No pop or juice allowed in the studios - water only *Absolutely no gum allowed *Absolutely no outdoor shoes in any of the dance studios
